Yahoo toolbar has free anti-spy ware go to the Right of the screen and look for %26gt;%26gt; It's below the links%26gt;%26gt;. Run anti spy. I have used avira (search for free anti virus downloads AVG) for years safe and free!
I like AdAware from Lavasoft for adware, and Spybot Search and Destroy for malware in general. They are free, although if you like Spybot, it would be nice to send the writer a donation. They are fairly well compatable with most operating systems, and reliable too.
