go to either download.com or cnet.com and get AdAware - their free version is probably one of the best and easiest to use out there....
also, I am going to throw in a shameless plug for using Mozilla Firefox, AVG free antivirus, and ZoneAlarm free firewall if you want a legitimately secure system, for no cost... much better than norton or mcaffee
