Help, i still have ads even though i have ran 3 adware removers?

ok so i am using the computer [i use mozilla firefox] and out of nowhere i get ads from internet explorer. i have recently downloaded some stuff so i am sure it must have installed adware. how do i get rid of it?! i have used spybot and many other adwares removers but none will make it stop.

Try using Webroot Spysweeper. Also, quit downloading porn and free games.

Go into your add/remove programs selector on the control pad, and delete all the little stuff you must have picked up, a media player could really be adware, so only keep what you are SURE isnt adware, ie, windows stuff, browser you use, games installed on disc, ect.
better use firefox and Ad Block Plus, that's really helps, you can even stop text-ad

Have you tried Spyware Blaster? It doesn't remove Spyware but it will inoculate your PC against new threats.
